ORDER
WHEREAS it is considered necessary and expedient to designate an officer of the State Government as Nodal Officer and another officer as Additional Nodal Officer for the purpose of looking after the various aspects pertaining to road safety measures besides coordinating with different State Government Departments/ Organisations/ Entities/ Bodies across the State and the Committee on the Road Safety, Supreme Court of India;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Governor is pleased to designate Shri Alapan Bandyopadhyay, IAS, Principal Secretary, Transport Department, to act as Nodal Officer and Dr. Jiban Chandra Chakraborty, IAS, Additional Secretary, Transport Department as Additional Nodal Officer of the State for the purpose mentioned in the foregoing paragraph with immediate effect and until further orders.
