ORDER
PWD is entrusted for vetting of project submitted by different Government Departments/ Para-statal bodies of State Government/ State government Undertakings/ Autonomous bodies/ Private Institutions.
Such projects are generally comprises of estimates of multi-discipline [Architecture, Civil, Electrical/ IT (Electrical), Mechanical] and are taken up by respective wings of PWD separately.
It has been observed that due to various types of communication/ co-ordination among the wings discharging of vetting of a project is getting delayed.
To overcome the short-coming, after careful consideration, for streamlining the process, it has been decided to introduce single window entry of all projects having multi-discipline [Architecture, Civil, Electrical/ IT (Electrical), Mechanical] vetting works through the Chief-Engineer, Planning (South Zone), PWD.
Accordingly, the Chief Engineer Planning, South Zone, P.W.Dte will, henceforth act as ‘Nodal Officer’ in respect of vetting of all projects comprising of single/ multi-disciplinary works and estimates related to a project comprising of multi-disciplinary works will be distributed to respective wings simultaneously to expedite the process of checking.
All departments sending estimates to PWD for vetting are required to submit the estimate in the Office of the Chief Engineer, Planning, South Zone, P.W.Dte at 9th Floor, P.W.D. Building, Bhabani Bhavan Complex, 31/1, Belvedere Road, Kolkata-700027 and in E-mail id: cepwdplanning@gmail.com
This will supersede all previous stipulation in this regard and take immediate effect.
This has approval of the competent authority of this Department in e-file bearing No. 1379924.
