Early Departure of Muslim Employees during RAMZAN
Muslim employees of West Bengal Government, who will be on ROJA (i.e. fasting for RAMZAN) may be permitted to leave office at 3:30 pm during the month of RAMZAN.
New Housing Scheme “Snehalaya” to provide Pucca Dwelling
The objectives of this Scheme, Snehalaya is to provide pucca dwelling housing unit to people not owning pucca house in his or her name or in the name of any family member in West Bengal.
Transfer Policy of Officer/ Staff under Employment Directorate
Tenure of posting in any of the station viz. Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar, Malda, North Dinajpur and South Dinajpur will normally be three years while that in any of the other stations will normally be five years.
Use of Government Vehicles on Saturdays/ Sundays/ Holidays
For the Saturdays, Sundays or/and other notified holidays including non-working days in a month, if the vehicles engaged on monthly hiring basis are kept as Stand-by, only the daily hiring charges for such days may be paid on the basis of the Stand by certificate.
Online Duplicate SC/ST Certificate in case of Loss or Damage
SC/ST certificate holder may obtain online duplicate SC/ST certificate in the event of loss or damage of the original Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe certificate from authority.

Governor is pleased to incorporate 10% reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in the Model 100-Point Roster of Vacancies.

Swasthya Sathi for workers/ volunteers like the Members of Self Help Groups, Civic Police Volunteers, Green Police Volunteers, Civil Defence Volunteers, Village Police Volunteers at Gram Panchayat, Disaster Management workers, Home Guard/ NVF, ASHA workers, ICDS workers and other Contractual/ Casual/ Daily rated workers.

Governor has been pleased to decide that the period of probation of persons appointed under the West Bengal Services (Appointment, Probation and Absorption of Group C Employees) Rules, 2013 shall count towards Modified Career Advancement Scheme benefit and promotion.
Remuneration of Contractual Gr. C and D Workers under PWD
With effect from 1st February, 2019 such workers, on attaining the age of 60 (sixty) years, will be entitled to one time terminal benefit of Rs. 3.00 Lakh in place of existing Rs. 2.00 Lakh.
Revision of Income Eligibility of Dependent Beneficiaries under WBHS
An amount of Rs. 8500/- for parent and Rs. 5000/- for other members of the family has been fixed as the maximum ceiling of gross income/ earning for becoming the dependent beneficiary under the Scheme.

Reservation to Persons with Disabilities in Higher Education
Reservation of seats shall not exceed 45% (SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-A-10% & OBC-B-7%). Persons with disabilities will enjoy a 3% reservation in each of the categories.
