Leave Rules for Govt. Employee – Leaves can not be claimed as a matter of right. Except Casual Leave and Half day Casual Leave, other leaves may be combined.
Female Govt. Employees having minor children (upto 18 years) may be granted Child Care Leave for a maximum period of two years (i.e. 730 days) during their entire service period.
Casual Leave can not be sanctioned for more than 7 consecutive days at a time including Sundays, holidays and weekly off days except for very special circumstances to be recorded in writing.
West Bengal Primary Teachers Leave Rules are applicable to all the teachers of the Non-Government Primary Schools under the administrative control of the Calcutta/ Mahakuma/ District Primary School Councils.
