Notification regarding all nursing personnel belonging to West Bengal Nursing Service and West Bengal General Service.
Selection as Trainee Reserve will be strictly on the basis of merit, i.e. marks obtained in concerned Entrance Examination. Candidates should apply for obtaining No Objection Certificate in the prescribed format enclosed together with this.
Only female candidates who have secured 50.00% or above in case of Unreserved candidates in aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE) and pass mark in each subjects in higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent.
Admission to the first year B.Sc. Nursing Course in the Nursing Colleges in West Bengal will be available from 16th July 2013 to 29th July 2013 from the office of the Central Selection Committee (Nursing) at West Bengal Government College of Nursing, Kolkata.
A Selection Committee is constituted and a Guideline relating to selection of Trainees for the G.N.M. Training Course, for the session September, 2013 to February, 2017 is issued as per West Bengal state Nurses’ Training (Admission of Students) Rules, 1979.
Applications from the eligible female candidates are invited for admission into 2 (two) year A.N.M. (R) Training Course in Nursing Training Schools under the Govt. of West Bengal for the Session: 2014-2016.
Applications are invited from female candidates for admission to the three & half years G.N.M. Training Course in Nursing Training Schools under the Govt. of West Bengal. The last six months of the G.N.M. Course will be for internship.
Governor has been pleased to enhance washing allowances of Nursing Staff from Rs. 25/- (Twenty five) only per month to Rs. 150/- (One hundred and fifty) only per month in respect of washing charges of the uniform with effect from 01.08.2013.
Medical Officers will attend IPGMER for training expected to be started from 27th January ’14 and end on 26th March ’14. Nursing Personnel will attend MR Bangur Hospital for training expected to be started from 27th January ’14.

Each of the candidates provisionally selected for G.N.M. training course to be called for documents verification will have to bring Medically fit Certificate in the prescribed format from a registered Medical Practitioner having at least MBBS degree.
