On the basis of unrevised pay in the unrevised pay scale under W.B.S. (ROPA) Rules, 1990, pay is to be fixed in the revised scale as is allowed vice Finance Department Memo No. 2540-F(P) dated 05.04.2010.

Modification of Promotional Fixation for Identical Scale of Pay
Due to loss of pay occurred in some cases after fixation in terms of the said Memo and due to non-availability of promotional fixation for identical scale of pay, the question of review of the same has been under consideration of the Government.

State Government employee who was posted elsewhere earlier and the Heads of Office has now changed when his pay is going to be revised under West Bengal Services (ROPA) Rules, 2009 may be allowed to exercise option to his present Head of Office.

The special pay for Head Estimators under the rule 5(33)(b) of WBSR Pt. I, shall be revised to Rs. 120/- p.m. w.e.f. 01.01.86 in relaxation of provisions under WBS(ROPA) Rules, 90.

Governor is pleased to declare that the special pay of Rs. 120/- p.m. for Head Estimator, shall be treated as Additional Remuneration w.e.f. 01.01.1996.

Pay Fixation of Teacher – Some Clarifications

2nd instalment of arrear Pay and Allowances will be paid to the approved teaching and non-teaching employees of recognized Non-Government Aided Sponsored Educational Institutions and Madrasahs in October, 2010.
