NOTICE FOR PARTICIPATION OF CTET QUALIFIED CANDIDATES/ TET-2017 QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WHO CROSSED THE AGE BAR BETWEEN 12/05/2017 AND 27/12/2022 IN THE 2022 RECRUITMENT PROCESS.

This notification is in continuation to notification published vide Memo No. 2235/WBBPE/2022 dated 21.12.2022.

After Note 8 of the notification dated 21.12.2022, referred to above, the following should be read:

Note 9: CTET applicants who intend to be considered in the 2022 recruitment process: in compliance with the interim direction dated 22.12.2022 passed in WPA 24618/2022 [Biswanath Mandal & Anr. Vs. State of West Bengal & Ors.] all intending eligible CTET pass candidates will be allowed to participate in the 2022 Recruitment process, and will be interviewed separately subsequently after their online registration. Such participation, as directed by the Hon’ble Court will not create any equity in favour of the participating candidates and whether they will be considered for giving recommendation and subsequent appointment, will abide by the final result of WPA 24618/2022.

Note 10: TET-2017 qualified candidates who crossed the age bar between 12/05/2017 and 27/12/2022 to be considered in the 2022 recruitment process: in compliance with the final order dated 22.12.2022 passed in WPA 24564/2022; 24253/2022; 24973/2022; 24707/2022; 24709/2022; 26426/2022 and 26883/2022, all intending eligible TET-2017 qualified candidates (who crossed the age bar between 12/05/2017 and 27/12/2022) will be allowed to participate in the 2022 Recruitment process, and will be interviewed separately subsequently after their online registration.

The other portions of the notification dated 21.12.2022, remain unaltered.
