PLZ , help me out of this problem….. according to g.o.,,,
The employeeswhose revised emoluments on 31.03.2014 exceeded Rs. 22,000/-p.m. but during the year 2013-2014 their emoluments at ast for six months were less than Rs. 22,000/- p.m. i.e. the said emoluments exceeded the eligibility ceiling of Rs. 22,000/- p.m. on account of promotion, drawal of increment, implementation of C.A. Scheme, enhancement of dearness allowance e c. after remaining less than Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for at least six months, will be entitled to ad-hoc bonus of Rs. 3,000/- per head under this order.
in financial year 2013-14, my basic (14370) + da(52%)(7473) = 21843 (up to the month of December2013). due to increase in d.a. in january 2014(6%), my basic (14370) + new da(58%)(8335) = 22705 (for the months of january 2014 to march 2014), exceeds emolument limit of 22000.
now my question is, will i get the bonus and how much…..

No, you are not entitled to receive the ad-hoc bonus, as your emolument crossed the ceiling of Rs.22000/- on January,2104. If your emoluments were Rs.22000/- or less p.m. at least for six months on 31.3.2014, i.e., from October,2014 to March,2014, you would have been entitled to get it.

but it said that emolument should be less than 22000 for at least 6months in the fin year 2013-2014. but it not had been said that the six month should ends in march 2014
plz elaborate the meaning:

Read the beginning of clause 2.(ii) that reads
” The employees whose revised emoluments on 31.03.2014 exceeded Rs. 22,000/- p.m. but during the year 2013-2014 their emoluments at least for six months were less than Rs. 22,000/- p.m. i.e. the said emoluments exceeded the eligibility ceiling of Rs. 22,000/- p.m. on account of ……… after remaining less than Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for at least six months,…….”
That, as I understand, means the period of 6 months should end on 31/03/2014. Anyway, lets some others explain in other way….

Yes, Rwitwik, You will get Bonus. Whose emoluments does not exceed Rs.22000 on Sep’13 they will get the bonus .
In this case the year 2013-14 means from 01-04-2013 to 31-03-2014.
Therefore, if your emolument is 22000/- or less between the period 01-04-2013 to 30-09-2013 (6 months)
you are eligible for ad-hoc bonus.
It doesn’t matter whatever the pay and allowances you received in the rest of the year 2013-14,
(i.e. form 1st Oct. 2013 to 31st March, 2014). its very simple
Dear RWITWIK ,
One is eligible to get Bonus:-
1) One who has joined on or before 15 th October 2013, and is in service 31 st March, 2014, and his basic pay within 22000/-, he/she will get bonus.
*2) In December,2013, if the basic pay is maximum 14470/-, then he will get his bonus. (Calculate with 52% of D.A. with the said amount of basic pay (14470), you will get 22000/-)
Accordingly your employee will get bonus for this year.
