No. 5687-PAR (WBCS) dated, the 28th December, 2006
For sometime past, the State Government in the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms has been considering the issue of reformatting the Annual Confidential Report (ACR) for the WBCS (Exe) Officers.
After careful consideration of the issue, the Governor has been pleased to prescribe a revised Annual Confidential Report for the WBCS (Exe) Officers at all levels as shown in the Annexure ‘A’ enclosed.
It has since been decided that this revised ACR format will come into force with effect from 01.04.2006 i.e. from financial year 2006-07.
It has also been decided that the instructions contained in Finance Department’s Memo No. 9135-F dated 10.09.2002 and P & AR Department’s letter no. 3586 (30)-PAR (WBCS) dated 26.09.2006 for submission of attendance performance report with the ACR shall remain unchanged.

MEMORANDUM
In continuation ‘of this Department Memo. No. 9135-F dated 10.09.2002 introducing Annual Performance Report comprising the report on attendance, performance and efficiency, accountability and integrity in respect of State Government Employees belonging to Group-B, Group-C and Group-D categories, the undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that the Governor has been pleased to decide that for consideration of promotion, confirmation etc. of such employees, the authorities will consider maximum of three (3) Annual performance Report of the concerned employees.
