Respected members, what is the difference in rules regarding the arrival to the school between Asst teacher and a Head teacher?
Has the headmaster right to arrive late usually on the name of outdoor school affairs. Some HM practicing such right which is making school unrest and a problem to the guardians who came to meet HM.

There is no difference in rules regarding attendance for a Head Teacher, Assistant Teacher and Non Teaching Staffs.
There is an old G.O. (No. S/879 dated 10.11.1989) regarding Appointed Hour, Commencement of class teaching, Daily Assembly and Late Attendance of Staff in Schools which is equally applicable for teaching and non-teaching staffs.
Being the Head of the Institution he has no right to attend late in School, but this malpractice surely invite a false position for him.Yes. There is no different rule. You may have a look at the govt order. “CLICK HERE”.

wbxpress has given right answer to you. But it is true that, they have (Headmasters or Headteachers) so many outdoor activities though malpractice is not our expectation. 1st hour is not mandatory for the guardians visit. In case of late arrival due to urgent school related works of H.M/H.T. At that time A.H.M. or Senior teacher or in-charge teacher will take part. After all, we all are responsible to smoothly run the school. With regards.
