Dear brother Somnath,
As far as my knowledge goes, from 1-6-2006 all the pension related payments are making the concern pension drawing bank, not the treasury. In this particular case – as stated by Mr Misir – after commencing of pension, the due Ex-grasia along with the due pensions will be given to the pensioner.September 22, 2012 at 1:16 am #74327AnonymousInactivePayment will be given through Bank not by Bank. Just like our office pay us salary through Bank.
September 22, 2012 at 1:35 am #74328AnonymousInactiveI think all the calculations are also used to be carried by the pension disbursing bank not by treasury.
September 22, 2012 at 3:09 am #74329AnonymousInactiveIt depends upon the pensioner, where from he/she has been receiving pension. In case of Jmisir, its obviously through Treasury. Lets see what the G.O. says.
6. State Government pensioners who draw their pension through Public Sector Banks will get this ex-gratia grant through their respective Bank Accounts. The Principal accountant General (A&E), West Bengal will issue an authority for this purpose to all such Banks under the Kolkata Payment Scheme immediately on receipt of this order so that the pensioners may draw the ex-gratia grant immediately to make their commitments for their festival. The Treasury/Sub-Treasury Office will take appropriate steps for issue of cheque to the respective paying branches of the Banks and Post Offices, so that the pensioners receiving pension through Banks and Money Order get the payment of ex-gratia immediately to meet their commitments for their festival. No authority of the Principal Accountant Genera) (A&E), West Bengal will be required for this purpose.

September 22, 2012 at 12:56 pm #74340AnonymousInactiveI have seen many of the govt. employees with higher salary get bonus but, there are some govt. employees who get less salaries, do not get bonus! How is it possible? Members pls help!
Probably, you have seen some young central govt. employees who do not get bonus while the aged employees in Central Govt. job are getting bonus despite their higher pay! Those young central govt. employees are all gazetted officers and the aged employees are working in non-gazetted posts. In central govt. service, only the non-gazetted employees (including non-gazetted Group-B employees) are eligible for bonus without any pay limit. Because of adding up of increments in their long period of service they are now getting more salary than young gazetted officers.
