    Is an assistant teacher of govt aided high school who is not B.Ed entitled to CAS on completion of 10yrs of service?

    As per G.O. No. 181 SE a non trained teacher is treated as trained after completion of 10 years continuous and satisfactory service. So there is no question of not getting the increment.     Yes, one additional increment is given after 10 years of service. It is clarified vide G.O. No. 30-SE /5B-1/2009 dated 10.02.2010. https://wbxpress.com/pay-fixation-of-teacher-some-clarifications/

    Thanks for the reply.
    Whether this one increment will be only for CAS or one will be entitled to regular increment also on completion of 10 yrs of continuous service. Its to be noted that the teacher is non B.Ed.

    Additional increment is for CAS (10 years service). Regular increment is applicable as usual.
    B.Ed / Non-B.Ed is not be considered awarding CAS benefit.
