I have to avail leave from 13.08.12 to 20.08.12 for medical treatment of my child. our school will remain closed on 17.08.12 and 18.08.12 due to ‘Mansa Puja'(HM declared)
and 19.08.12 & 20.08.12 due to holidays. If i joined on 21.08.12, how many leave will be deducted from my account and what kind of leave it would be. pls reply.
Are you a primary teacher? then the following extract from the leave rule of primary teachers may be useful “6. Prefixing or suffixing of holidays – Leave other that casual leave may be prefixed to Sundays / holidays / vacations, as the case may be, but intervening Sundays / holidays / vacation shall be counted alongwith the relevant leave.”
So I think you may apply for commuted leave on personal need upto the date of 16/8/12. thus you have to take only 4 days leave but if you apply for leave upto 20/8/12, 8 days will be counted as your leave. I’m not sure about my suggestion let see what other say.
