My wife had once taken a 11 months without pay leave due to my illness. Her all other leaves are intact
yesterday we got a news that she is pregnant and doctor had strictly suggested her a bed rest for 3 months and asked her not to travel within next 3 months
She is in malda now ,which is working place of mine ,she had come here for her summer vacation holidays , my question:-
a. can she avail her medical leaves now ??
b. does she need to join after summer vacation and then take leave or submitting an application through a messenger is allowed ?
c. is it necessary to join after vacation to take leave? Or it can be availed without joining in case of emergency?August 28, 2012 at 11:16 am #61219AnonymousInactiveI am W.B.Govt employee and I have 4 months old baby. May 18, 2013 at 4:30 pm #61223AnonymousInactiveSir i have been appointed as a teacher in maternity leave vacancy for 15days in a junior high school in Nadia. They say they will send my testimonials for D.I’s approval and then comes the billing procedure and then the salary will be transfered in the school account and eventually they will pay me the money. So my question is how many days do it take to complete the procedure? and i much shall i get as a salary? Thank you.

I am working as Part-Time Teacher in English, Maharaja Nandakumar Mahavidalaya since 2007. In my college 11 Part -Time Teachers are appointed, all of them are approved by the Higher Education Department. One of my colleague Smt Amita Jana (Part-Time Teacher- Dept of Sanskrit) applied to the college authority (TIC) for maternity leave before summer recess (i.e 15th May, 2013). She applied for six month maternity leave starting from 1st July, 2013- till 27th December 2013. My/Our/Her query is whether she is eligible for the above mentioned leave? The question arises because the college authority (TIC) contradicts this facility.August 16, 2013 at 3:25 pm #61225AnonymousInactiveI am a permanent employee of Chandernagore Municipal Corporation, Chandernagore, Hooghly ,which is quasi government organisation. my question is am I eligible for maternity leave for 180 days.
