my mother expired after 2 month of retirement, one son employed, is husband (no source of income) eligible for pension?
is death gratuity is more than normal gratuity?

yes, family pension is applicable here.
please let us know whether pension had started or not after the retirement of your mother.
family pension is 30% of last pay.
normal retiring gratuity is 16.5 times the last pay. whereas death gratuity is 33 times the last pay; i.e. twice the amount of normal gratuity.

mother retired on 31/04/2013 and died on 18/06/2013 , pension not started , please clear about family pension and gratuity.

Full Pension @ 50% of last pay is admissible upto 7 years of retirement i.e. upto 31.04.2020
Family Pension @ 30% of last pay is admissible w.e.f. 01.05.2021.
