Joining on 1st January 2020 after release on 31st December

I have got release on 31st December 2020 after getting transfer order from WBBSE and want to join my assigned school on 1st January 2021. But, 1st January 2021 is a Government Holiday. Can I join on 1st January 2021? Will there be an without pay on 1st January 2021?

No. you can join on next working day. No question of without pay. Moreover you should get a joining time.
