I am an assistant teacher in an additional post in HS section.I took 17 days medical leave (not continuous) after 1 year 7 months of my service and another 17 days medical leave(not continuous) in the 3rd year of my service. I have not got retention yet.will the leave be without pay?I will be highly grateful if anybody can provide me the CURRENT ORIGINAL GO if any regarding this with the board/council logo in pdf format ,so that I can show it to the authority. PLEASE REPLY SOON. IT IS VERY URGENT.

After your retention will enjoy your such leave and your M.L.of the previous period ( from the date of joining) will be deposited in your leave account. ( Board’s Memo No. S/435 dt. 6.6.2001)
With thanks.July 15, 2013 at 9:26 am #78312AnonymousInactivebut i have taken ML with full pay before retention. i am still not permanent. retention is on process. what will be written in the service book now. where is this circular in HM current mannual. is there any latest circular regarding this. please reply soon. with thanks.

No leave except the casual leave can be taken before retention for normal case. But for extreme emergency, advanced medical leave can be taken. In such case, MC have to forward your application to DSE for granting the ML before retention. If DSE grants your ML, then its ok. In your service book, this grant of ML by DSE should be mentioned.
If DSE doesn’t grant your ML, then you have to apply for leave without pay to MC and return the salary that you have drawn for those days.July 15, 2013 at 1:59 pm #78316AnonymousInactivethanks very much. but does dse grant this often or rare? how to apply for this ML to MC.if it is not granted and become without pay will the yearly increment be effected.please reply soon.

Wheather DSE will grant your leave or not, depends on the reason offered by you for you absense.
The application should be adressed to director or secretary of DSE ( I am not sure..) through MC of school . MC should forward this to DSE.
If you want to avoid this, you can directly apply to apply MC for leave without pay.July 16, 2013 at 5:02 pm #78325AnonymousInactivebut what about GO NO Kol-2327/04/G dated 11/06/2004 please comment on this . its urgent. what about the increment if without pay.with thanks.
