PLEASE TELL ME THE G.O. ABOUT THE MISCARRIAGE RULE .HOW MANY TIMES A FEMALE TEACHER CAN GET THE MISCARRIAGE LEAVE?
November 22, 2013 at 5:11 pm #78932AnonymousInactiveIn case of miscarriage, a woman shall, on production of such
proof as may be prescribed, be entitled to leave with wages at the rate of maternity
benefit for a period of six weeks immediately following the day of her miscarriage.
For such incidence, the incumbent is not responsible. I think, there should not be limit (times).” how many times”- clearly there is no clarification(s) or circular.November 27, 2013 at 12:53 pm #78953AnonymousInactiveWILL YOU PLEASE UPLOAD THE G.O. REGARDING MISCARRIAGE?

West Bengal Service Rules Part – I and Part – II | WBXPressAugust 3, 2016 at 4:54 pm #81748AnonymousInactiveIt is true that there is no clarification regarding how many times an female employee may enjoy the ‘Maternity leave’ extends for the cases of Miscarriages also…but as per the norms adopted by different Establishments of the the Central and other State Govts, Maternity Leave is granted only if the female employee has less than two alive children. Since Maternity Leave and Miscarriage leave are intrinsically connected, so I really doubt whether the Leave granted for miscarriage shall be allowed in case the employee already has two or more children. Though I am not sure………
August 4, 2016 at 7:28 pm #81791AnonymousInactiveIn case of miscarriage, abortion leave allowed with full average pay for 6 weeks and maternity leave ( now 180 days), there is no bar (times) till now.
