A panel should not remain valid for more than a year. Same problem with me sir ….actully here in Himachal pradesh panchayati raj department two post of AE were advertised dec.2012 After interview a selected/waiting list prepaired & I was 3rd in penel & 1st in waiting list on date feb.2013 .Both the selected candidate join.But one of then is resign after 3months.so for next process I write a letter for appointment .Because of waiting list is valid for one year & another statement is given in the selection process for block engineer that waiting list is valid till the selected candidate does not join or vacancy arises in the post duering the period for which waiting list is valid.But there is no any reply to me for this problem.Is there any right to claim for that job ….
