There is actually a technical problem in acceptance of two different courses simultaneously done in the same academic session. But there also exists a way out. I have explained in details there. See the link:

Last increment allowed on 01.07.2012. Increment stopped due to untrained on 01.07.2013 and 01.07.2014. Passed B.Ed in March’2015. through ODL mode. Last Date of Examination 18.01.2015. From which date increment/monetary incremental benefit is allowable again.

    Shall he get 1 increment or total 3(for 1.7.2013, 1.7.14 & 1.7.15) increments? Is there any G.O.?
Why he shall not get increment from 19.01.2015. Please clarify me. I am also suffering from the same issue.

…. As far as I have come to know from the related documents (supported by the concerned authority of D.I. Office, Jalpaiguri) you will get two increments- one, be attentive as many do not understand it, the increment that you are entitled to get with effect from 19.01.2015, but you will actually get on 01.07.2015 (as per the directions on increments in ROPA-2009) on completion of B.ed. and two, the normal increment entitled to a serviceman annually. ……

    2 increments on 01-July-2015

You will get only one increment, not two as are discussed above.
You may apply for increment from from 19.01.2015 right now with the copy of Result of B.Ed. and the Programme of your B.Ed Final Examination. In that case, you will get salary of April 2015 with increment and, later you will get the excess salary for 19.01.2015 to 31.03.2015 for increment as arrear. Your next increment will be on 01.07.2016. Otherwise you will get increment on 01.07.2015 automatically, if you submit the result of B.Ed.
N.B. : Remember, accept double increment on 01.07.2015 only if are entitled to get 10 years incremental benefit on 01.07.2015 with one for completion of B.Ed this year.

Hello Mr. Das, I used this wonderful utility. It is very nice.
But, there is a minor mistake, i think, in computation sheet, while calculating 3% educational cess. it is not showing exact figure. for example, tax payable=17016/-, education cess should be 510/- but it is showing 507/-. please correct it and oblige.
    thanks,

Distance between places of posting (and not places of residence) of husband and wife matters. For full HRA admissibility the distance criterion was more than 250km before the Hon’ble Calcutta H.C. passed the order to reduce it to a reasonable distance instead of 250 km. Perhaps it has now been reduced to 150 km. Another point is the condition of govt. accommodation alloted to the spouse. If it is in habitable condition for family in all respects the other spouse is not entitled to draw HRA even if he/she resides separately. Since the distance between Durgapur and Shaktigarh is possibly less than 100 km and, husband resides in a govt. accommodation which is in habitable condition (I hope so) wife is not eligible to get HRA.

No, Maternity Leave cannot be taken in two or more parts/phases. Once one joins her duty during Maternity Leave, her leave comes to end.
