Sub: Revised wage rate with effect from 01.04.2014, regarding
Sir,
Kindly note that we have received the notification from the Government of India indicating the revised wage rate applicable for MGNREGA workers with effect from 01.04.2014. As per the notification issued by the Government of India, unskilled worker working in MGNREGS in West Bengal shall get Rs. 169.00 for a day’s work. Likewise a semi-skilled and skilled worker shall get wages at the rate of Rs. 253.50 and Rs. 338.00 respectively. This revised wage rate shall be applicable to engagement of workers for implementation of MGNREGS.
The notification issued by the Ministry in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 13.02.2014 is attached.
