The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.
All the Departments and other establishments shall start functioning with the officers of and above the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent and support staff of Group C and below not exceeding 25% of the existing strength each day with effect from 20th April 2020.
SAR Nodal Officers are requested to complete the process of tagging of concerned Group-A Officers immediately and approve the chain of SAR flow in the System so that the SAR may be submitted by all Group-A Officers to their respective Reporting Officers within 30th June, 2019.
On and from 19th March 2020 all employees except those working in the departments providing emergency services and those whose services are essentially required by the higher authority, shall be allowed to leave office at 04.00 PM.
State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners shall draw Dearness Relief @ 45% of basic Pension with effect from January 1, 2012 onwards.
Existing, retired State Government employees pensioners, Family Pensioners, AIS and retired AIS officers who have not enrolled their names under the WBHS may be allowed to enrol up to 31.03.2019.
Governor is pleased to decide that the physical submission of certain category of Salary bills and monthly Pension bills to AGWB shall be discontinued for the month of May, 2025 onwards.
All the L.O.C. Cheques issued on or before 31.03.2014 by the Divisional Officers of Public Works Executing Departments and Forest Department of the State Government shall remain valid for encashment upto 10.04.2014.
Governor is pleased to declare 12th December, 2016 (Monday), as a Holiday on account of Fateha-Dwaz-Daham, in place of 13th December, 2016 (Tuesday).
Employees of Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,200/- per head provided their emoluments did not exceed Rs. 24,000/- per month.
