Memorandum for Vote on Account Budget 2013-2014
The Administrative Departments/ Controlling Authorities may now make allotment of fund relating to Non-Plan expenditure for Salary Items upto 33% and Non-Salary Items upto 25% of the whole year’s budget provision.

Treatment of Absence on 28.11.2016 for Bandh/Strike
Governor has been pleased to decide that absence of employees on 28.11.2016 and 29.11.2016 will be treated as dies non and no salary will be admissible.

All offices under the Government of West Bengal will be closed at 2 p.m. on 01.07.2015 on account of the Birth Day of Late Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Ex Chief Minister of West Bengal.

Guidelines for Drawal of Bills for the Financial Year 2014-15
State Government has decided to allow drawal of fund from the treasuries/ Pay and Accounts offices of the State Government in anticipation of allotment of fund for the following items of expenditure for the period upto 31st July, 2014.

Validity of LOC Cheques for 2012-13
All the L.O.C. cheques issued on or before 28.03.2013 by the Divisional Officers of Public Works Executing Departments and Forest Department of the State Government shall remain valid for encashment up to 12.04.2013.

West Bengal Finance Act, 2015 – Date of Effect
the 1st day of January, 2015, as the date on which clause (1) and clause (2) of section 6 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

12 Days-Off for Interns engaged in Finance Department
It has been decided to allow Interns engaged in Finance department 12 (twelve) off days during their tenure subject to the condition that not more than 6 (six) off days at a time will be allowed.
