Guidelines towards Godown Space to be maintained by Wholesaler

Godown within the radius of 20 kilometer of the vacancy area may also be accepted subject to the condition that the prospective wholesaler, shall give an undertaking that he shall not claim transport rebate for more than 8 kilometer.

Reconciliation of Fair Price Shop by Reform Cell of Food & Supplies

SCF&S/ ROs will complete their work within 15.04.22 and the DCF&Ss/ DDRs will do theirs within 30.04.22. After completion of work at the field level, reconciliation of the data with live database will be taken up by the Reforms Cell.

Aadhaar Linking with Ration Card through ePOS by eKYC

Seeding and validation of Aadhaar will be done instantly at FPSs through ePoS machine on the basis of Aadhaar based Biometric Authentication. Aadhaar seeding process is started from 22.07.2021 onwards.

Implementation of One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) Scheme

Government of West Bengal in F&S Department has decided to participate in nationwide One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme. Through this scheme, NFSA beneficiaries can lift foodgrain anywhere in India through Aadhaar based Biometric Authentication.

Introduction of e-Ration Card in West Bengal

e-Ration Card facility is available to those beneficiaries who have seeded Aadhaar numbers of all their family members who have Ration Cards. e-Ration Card Number and Digital Ration Card No. will remain same.

Working Capital of Dealer/ Distributor/ Wholesaler under Food & Supplies Deptt.

Applicants for Dealership must have a bank balance of Rs. 2.50 lakh in form of saving account, current account and/or fixed/ term/ flexi deposit as working capital as reflected on the day of application and 6 months preceding the date of application.
