Citizen Centric Fortnight to Improve Health Care Facilities

In order to further improve the provision of user-friendly amenities and environmental sanitation of different Health Care Facilities it is decided to launch a special campaign entitled CITIZEN CENTRIC FORTNIGHT during the period from 1st July 2013 to 15th July 2013.

Information regarding Antenatal Clinic

Antenatal Clinic will start from 2-00 pm and will remain open up to 4-00 pm in addition to the routine OPD services as before from 9-00 am onwards at the PHC, BPHC & RH twice weekly on Monday and Friday as a value-added service.

New Health Districts in West Bengal

Seven new Health Districts have been announced by the State Government at Jhargram, Nandigram, Basirhat, Diamond Harbour, Rampurhat, Bishnupur and Assansol.

No Leave Sanction in Health Deptt during Heat Wave Situation

All Government Health Care Delivery facilities are directed not to sanction any kind of leave in favor of all the Medical Teachers, Medical Officers, Nursing Personnel and other concerned employees deployed and functioning in high priority delivery points namely maternity wards, Labor Rooms, Neonatal Wards, Pediatric Wards, NICU, PICU, SNCU, SNSU etc.

Observance of World Food Day (16th October, 2014)

Food & Supplies Department will provide rice (@ of 5 kg per month), wheat/atta (@ 2.5 Kg per month), musur dal (@ of 1 Kg per month) and Bengal gram (@ of 1 kg per month) free of cost to each such mother and child.
