The committee will assess the prevailing fee structure in various Government/ Government-aided Colleges and submit a report to the State Govt. alongwith their recommendation on implementation of uniform fee structure including Tution Fees.
All Principals/ TIC/ OC of Colleges are advised that upon being approached by WBBPE, to spare the concerned Institute under their control for holding TET Examination for recruitment of Primary School Teachers and also to extend necessary cooperation.
MCA seats, which may remain vacant after JECA-2013 counseling, in different AICTE approved participating Colleges of the State, offering MCA programme, be opened for admission through decentralized counseling for the JECA-2013 qualified candidates who fulfill the AICTE norms.
Reservation applicable to each reserved category (SC-22%, ST-6%), shall be in commensurate with the overall number of seats being increased in each course/ faculty. For OBC-A (10%) and OBC-B (7%) seats, implementation will be done over a six year period commencing from 2014-15.

Governor has been pleased to create 13 (thirteen) posts of teachers, 4 (four) posts of officer and 8 (eight) posts of non-teaching staff for the new campus of North Bengal University at Dooars, Jalpaiguri.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor may be allowed to draw pay in Academic Level 15 w.e.f 01.01.2020 and the pay of the existing Pro-Vice-Chancellors who are in receipt of AGP of Rs. 12,000/- shall be fixed at the appropriate cell of Academic Level 15 by multiplying the existing basic pay (Band Pay + AGP) with the factor 2.57.
