West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education looks after the education system in 10+2. Main office at Salt Lake, Kolkata along with 4 regional offices.
Examination will be held in only one paper on each day from 10.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. (3 hours and 15 minutes time is allotted both for reading question paper and writing answer).
Results of Higher Secondary Examination – 2022 will be published on 10th June 2022 at 11.00 a.m. through a Press Conference to be held at Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council.
Supplementary Examination of Semester I is to be conducted by the schools in the month of February, 2025 as per the convenience of the concerned institutions.

A student, who has secured at least 70% marks in the aggregate and 75% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics taken together in the Madhyamik Examination.

All Theoretical Examinations will be held between 14.03.2023 and 27.03.2023. All Practical Examinations will be held between 05.12.2022 and 21.12.2022.

The retired College/ School teachers with Hons/ PG qualification and below 64 years of age may apply seeking engagement as Part Time Teacher in HS Schools. The Period of engagement should be upto 180 days or until regular teachers join the school which ever is earlier.
