Creation of Additional Posts in Different Departments of West Bengal

‘Affidavit’ and ‘Attestation’ by Gazetted Officers and others shall be substituted by Self Declaration and Self -Attestation respectively with effect from 1st December, 2014.

West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Recruitment Rules, 1978 – Amendments
The Preliminary Examination will consist of only one paper, viz., a paper on “General Studies”. The paper will be of objective type consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions.
