The admission procedure (distribution and receiving of admission forms of lottery, draw of lot, admission of candidate etc.) shall be done strictly as per COVID-19 protocol issued by the Government of West Bengal from time to time.
Admission of children in elementary classes including Pre-Primary Class in all Government/ Government Sponsored/ Aided Primary/ Upper Primary/ High/ Higher Secondary schools including SSKs/ MSKs for the academic session – 2023.
West Bengal Schools Up-gradation Rules, 2007 is prepared regarding up-gradation of Schools from Junior High School to Secondary School, Secondary School to Higher Secondary Schools.
Documents needed for Admission to Class V in all Schools under WBBSE:- a) Birth Certificate with Birth Registration Number and b) Primary School leaving Certificate.
Primary school teachers appointed after 03.09.2001 having B. Ed or equivalent qualification should obtain 6 months Special Training to be conducted with the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education.
Summer Vacation from 19.05.2015 to 07.06.2015 in the Holiday List of 2015 for all Secondary Schools in West Bengal will be read as 18.05.2015 to 06.06.2015.
This is to notify to all Heads of Secondary Schools, Teachers, students of Class X that the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has reduced 30-35% of the syllabus of the subjects (First Language, Second Language, Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, History and Geography)
As per Supreme Court’s direction it is mandatory for all eligible school, the teachers and the Government officials attached to School Education Department to implement and supervise the Cooked Mid-Day Meal Scheme.
In view of the recent heat wave you are authorized to change school hours from the day shift to the morning shift in Primary and Upper Primary Schools in consultation with the Chairman, DPSC and the concerned DI of Schools.
