Due to predicted severe cyclonic storm Foni likely to hit coastal areas of West Bengal and extreme hot weather conditions prevailing in the State, classes will remain suspended in all Govt., Govt. Sponsored and Non-Govt. aided schools from 3rd May, 2019 to 30th June, 2019.
Introduction of 4 (four) more optional Elective/Addl. subjects duly recommended by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, in addition to approved existing 33 (thirty three) optional Elective subjects under NVEQF programme for Madhyamik Pariksha in West Bengal, 2015.

Control Room is opened from 17.02.2014 at West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and it will continue till completion of the Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E), 2014 in the interest of the examinees and common people as well.
Availing Board facility prescribed for the Children With Special Needs, who are going to appear in Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination), 2023.
For the holding Second Primary TET Examination, to be held be 30th day of March, (Sunday), 2014, all the high and higher secondary schools in the state will be required.
Admission of children in elementary classes including Pre-Primary Class in all Government Sponsored/aided Primary/Upper Primary/High/Higher Secondary schools including Model school for the academic session 2014.
If any name of teacher is not included in the list under the mentioned category school authority will have to submit details on or before 14.7.13 to this office.
Allowance of scribes to the examinees of D.El.Ed Part – I and Part – II Examinations, 2013 to be conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
The distribution of Mid Day Meal would continue in all the schools maintaining all COVID-19 norms and protocols as is done during COVID-19 pandemic.
