West Bengal Government Notification
The objective of this Department is to run the Tourist Administration in the interest of the Tourists along with Promotion of Tourism and creation of Tourist facilities.
Department of Tourism has decided to include the Services regarding Issuance of Registration and Issuance of Date of Commencement Certificate both related to the West Bengal Incentive Scheme, 2015.
In respect of development and promotion of Tourism in the state, Governor is pleased to approve a new Tourism Policy named West Bengal Tourism Policy, 2016.
West Bengal Incentive Scheme, 2015 for Tourism Units is a new set of incentives for promotion of Tourism, effective from 07.01.2015 to 31.12.2020.
In West Bengal Tourism and Development Corporation Ltd. who dies in-harness or retires prematurely may be offered employment on compassionate ground.
