District Level Committee for Implementation of IFMS Project

In order to monitor and supervise the processes towards implementation of IFMS Project in the districts, it has been decided to form a District Level Committee with the following officials of Govt. of West Bengal.

Sir,

I am to state that the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) Project has been introduced with effect from 1st April, 2014 starting with e-Banton in the first phase as per G.O. No. 2088-F(B) dated 28/02/2014. Implementation of other modules (CTS, e-Billing, e-Pradan, HRMS etc.) is also in the process. In order to monitor and supervise the processes towards implementation of IFMS Project in the districts, it has been decided to form a District Level Committee with the following officials:-

1 Additional District Magistrate, In-Charge of Treasury Chairman
2 Senior Deputy Collector/ Nazarath Deputy Collector Member
3 Treasury Officer, District Treasury-I Member
4 Treasury Officer, District Treasury – II Member
5 Addl. Treasury Officer (Nodal officer for IFMS Project) Member
6 One Representative from Office of CMOH in the District Member
7 One Representative from any other Major Dept. in the District Member

The Treasury Officer or Additional Treasury Officer who has been declared as Nodal Officer in terms of Finance Department Memo. No. 42.FY/0/2M-8/2012 dated 17th June, 2014 would be the Member-Convenor of the Committee. The District Level Committee may co-opt any other officials if necessary. The Committee will send report fortnightly on the progress of implementation of IFMS Project in the District to Finance Department. Presently, the Committee should coordinate with the issues related to e-Banton for smooth distribution of fund.

Shri Goutam Chatterjee, Joint Secretary, Finance Department (Mobile No. 9433123844) or Shri Amit Kumar Sarkar, Joint Director of Treasuries & Accounts (Mobile No. 9830052942) may be contacted for the issues related to IFMS Project.

You are requested to take immediate action in the matter and intimate this Department accordingly.
