MEMORANDUM
The last date of enrolment under West Bengal Health for All Employees and Pensioners Cashless Medical Treatment Scheme, 2014 (hereinafter called the said scheme) and accordingly validity of existing card and reimbursement facility as per WBHS-2008 was extended from 1st April, 2016 to 31st March, 2017 vide FD Memo No. 218-F(MED) dated 03-03-2016. However, on further assessment it has been found that still a substantial numbers of Government employees and specially Pensioners are yet to register themselves online in West Bengal Health Portal (https://wbhealthscheme.gov.in)
2. Therefore, the Governor is further pleased to extend the last date of online application for enrolment under the said scheme and accordingly validity of existing card and reimbursement facility as per WBHS-2008 from 1st April, 2017 to 30th September, 2017 for the last time.
3. New entrants into Government service shall, however be allowed for online application for enrolment under the scheme within one years i.e, 365 days of their appointment in Government Service after 30th September, 2017 in partial modification of FD Notification No. 8435-F dt. 29.08.2011.
4. Online conversion through West Bengal Health Portal from Employee to Pensioner/ Family Pensioner conversion upon retirement of Government Employee/ Death of Government Employee and Pensioner to Family Pensioner conversion upon retirement of Government Employee will be allowed in the West Bengal Health Portal as usual after 30th September, 2017.
5. Government Employees/ Pensioners may avail reimbursement treatment facility on and after 01.04.2017 with old manual WBHS, 2008 card in the HCOs but their all types of reimbursement treatment claim bill will be processed from Head of Office/ DDO/ Treasury/ PAO end after completion of Online Enrolment and issuance of Certificate of Enrolment from respective DDO as per FD Notification No. 1018-F (MED)WB Dt. 25.11.2016.
