MEMORANDUM
Subject: Family Pension cases under the purview of Memo. No. 830-F(Pen) dated 20.09.2010 to be routed/ sent through proper channel.
The undersigned is directed to state that all Head of Offices refer the files regarding family pension cases under the purview of Memo. No. 830-F(Pen) dated 20.09.2010 to the Finance Department (Pension Branch) for proper examination and decision. It has been noticed that the files directly referred by the PSAs are sometimes not in proper order, causing unnecessary and inordinate delay, despite the utmost effort by the Finance Department (Pension Branch).
Now, in partial modification of para 4 of Memo. No. 830-F(Pen) dated 20.09.2010 the undersigned is directed to state that the Governor is pleased to inform all Head of Offices to refer the files of family pension cases under the purview of Memo. No. 830-F(Pen) dated 20.09.2010 (pre-deceased family pension cases of unmarried/ divorced/ widowed daughters of govt. employees/ pensioners) to the concerned Administrative Department for proper verification & re-examination of the documents as per extant norms, provisions, and format. The Administrative Department shall then forward it to the Finance Department (Pension Branch) along with their specific proposal for decision/ approval towards sanctioning of family pension, in the interest of the public service.
