ORDER
In terms of this Department’s Order No. 92-F(MED)WB dated 09.10.2026, all employees and pensioners-including those from the All India Service (AIS)-and their enrolled beneficiaries under the West Bengal Health Scheme (WBHS) holding Swasthya Sathi and/or Ayushman Bharat Cards, were directed to surrender such cards and submit the prescribed declaration along with proof of surrender before the designated authorities latest by 31st October, 2026.
However, as it has been observed that a considerable number of such employees, pensioners, and their beneficiaries are yet to complete the surrender process and submit the requisite documents, and with a view to providing them an opportunity to comply with the aforesaid directions, the Governor is pleased to extend the deadline for surrendering the cards and submitting the declaration stipulated therein up to 30th November, 2026.
All other terms, conditions, instructions, and directions contained in the aforesaid order shall remain unchanged and continue to be in force.
All Heads of Offices, Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), and Pension Sanctioning Authorities are requested to take necessary action to ensure strict compliance within the extended timeline.
