Guidelines for Conducting Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

There will be two papers of the TET. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a teacher either for classes I to V or for classes VI to VIII will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Additional Increment for Obtaining Higher Qualification

Manner in which a teacher appointed in Honours Graduate/ Post Graduate scale of pay will be entitled to claim any additional increment and higher scale of pay upon acquiring Post Graduate/ or any Higher diploma/ Degree.

Providing Free Diagnostic to Pregnant Women and Sick Infants

All Pregnant women and Sick infants up to 1 year of age attending OPD or IPD of a Govt. Institution, are provided with free services, free drugs and consumables, free diagnostic services, free blood transfusion, free diet and free transport without their having to incur any out of pocket expenditure.

6th SLST – TET for Appointment of AT in Madrasahs

6th SLST is re-scheduled to be held on 24th August, 2014 (Sunday) for preparing panel of Assistant Teachers and Under Graduate Teachers in Recognized Govt. aided Madrasahs in West Bengal. Admit Card will be available from 10th August, 2014 onwards.
