NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India passed on 28th June, 2013 in the matter of West Bengal State Election Commission (Petitioner) – vs – The State of West Bengal & Others (Respondents) vide SLP (C1) No(s). 19928-19931 of 2013 and the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on 2nd July, 2013 in the matter of IA Nos. 7-26 and RP(C) Nos. 1480-1483 of 2013 read with Notification No. 2624/PN/O/1/1E-3/2012 dated 02.07.2013 issued by the Government of West Bengal in the Department of Panchayats & Rural Development, the West Bengal State Election Commission, in exercise of the power conferred by Section 43 (1) (d) & (e) of the West Bengal Panchayat Elections Act, 2003, appoints the dates of poll against the districts shown below in connection with the Panchayat General Elections, 2013:

The 3rd August, 2013 as the date before which the election shall be completed.
