MEMORANDUM
In terms of F.D’s Memo. No. 3727-F, dated 20.05.2009, part-time contingent staff has been allowed fixed pay not exceeding Rs. 2000/- p.m. After issue of the aforesaid order a large number of representations from various comers are being received seeking a clarification on the admissibility of the amount of part-time remuneration to the contingent staff.
2. After careful consideration of the matter the undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that the Governor has been pleased to decide that the pay of the part-time Group – D employees paid out of the contingencies may be fixed in the following manner w.e.f. 01.06.2009.
| i) For doing duties less than one hour per day. | Not less than Rs. 500/- p.m. |
| ii) For doing duties more than one hour but less than two hours per day. | More than Rs. 500/- but not more than Rs. 1000/-p.m. |
| iii) For doing duties more than two hours but less than three hours per day. | More than Rs. 1000/- but not more than Rs. 1500/-p.m. |
| iv) For doing duties more than three hours per day. | More than Rs. 1500/- but not more than Rs. 2000/- p.m. |
