Casual Worker
Here goes all Govt. Notifications related to Casual Employees/ Daily rated Workers/ Contractual Employee; about their regularization, leave, Provident Fund, Health Scheme etc.
With effect from the 1st April, 2024 the consolidated monthly remuneration of the above categories of workers will be revised as follows:
For implementation of NREGA, the State Government recruits GRS through BDO and appointment agreement with Pradhan for each one GRS at every Gram Panchayat.
The casual/ daily rated/ contractual workers who have rendered 10 years of service continuously with at least 240 days attendance each year may remain engaged in the same status and capacity till their attaining the age of 60 years.
The amount of one time terminal benefit for the contractual personnel on attaining the age of 60/65 years will be enhanced to Rs. 5.00 lakh from 2.00 lakh/ 3.00 lakh
These contractually engaged IT personnel shall be given security of engagement upto the age of 60 years. They shall not be terminated except on the grounds as prescribed in No. 9008-F(P) dated 16-09-2011.
Contractual/ Casual/ Piece-rated/ Daily-rated Workers may be engaged in any other entity, local fund or in any project, scheme or office under the Govt. on the same rate of remuneration. Such engagement will not be regularized in future.
Governor has been pleased to order that the legal heirs of casual/daily rated/contractual workers shall be paid an amount of Rs. 2 lakhs as one time death benefit.
The primary criterion shall be nature of job assigned on the date of initial engagement and the secondary criterion shall be minimum qualification and experience on the date of initial engagement.
Such contractual personnel will continue to be guided by such conditions as fixed by the Finance Department for them and not by Memo 9008-F(P) dated 16/09/2011 and the orders issued in continuation of it.
Engagement of Software Personnel for a project shall be assessed by the concerned HOD/ Directorate in consultation with NIC or IT Department.
