Development Board
Development Board is an organization or authority established to plan, manage, and promote economic, social, or infrastructural growth in a specific region or sector.
The aims and objects of the Board shall be to preserve, promote and safeguard the language, traditional dance, traditional festival and culture of the Kurmi community.
Governor is pleased to establish ‘The West Bengal Mangar Development Board’ with its Head Office in Kalimpong, Darjeeling, West Bengal under the administrative control of BCWD.
The aims and objects of the Board shall be to preserve, promote and safeguard the language, traditional folk art, folk music, folk dances and folk culture of the Bhujel community;

Governor is pleased to nominate the following members to the General Body of The West Bengal Mangar Development Board. It shall automatically expire on completion of five years.

Head Office of ‘Tamang Development and Cultural Board’ is in the District of Darjeeling, West Bengal, under the administrative control of the Tribal Development Department, Government of West Bengal.
