Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance (DPPG) receives Pension files from Pension Sanctioning Authorities (PSAs), audits and issue Pension Payment Orders (PPO).
Modification of the procedure of credit of interest by Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance , West Bengal (DPPG, WB) into GPF Accounts of Group – D employees of the State
Introduction of Non-Government Institutions Provident Fund (NGIPF) Module in WBIFMS for Provident Fund maintenance in Non-Government Educational Institutions, Local Bodies and other similar institutions.

All the pension cases of the Municipal employees of the districts of North Bengal will be dealt by the DPPG Office at Uttarkanya, Siliguri w.e.f. 01.11.2014.
The Annual Consolidated Interest on GPF balances amounting to Rs. 101,76,27,253.00 has been transfer credited in respect of 36,312 number of Group D Subscriber’s for the F.Y. 2024-25.
