NOTIFICATION
Sub: Extension of last date of entry and approval of Opening balance of GPF in IFMS and submission of documents to DPPG WB
Online GPF Module for maintenance of General Provident Fund Account of Group-D Employees of the State was introduced in IFMS vide No. 734-F(J)W.B dated-28.02.2018. Accordingly as a prerequisite to smooth switch over to the newly introduced computerized platform for maintenance of Fund, opening balance standing at the credit of the Group-D employees in the manual register maintained as on 01.04.2018 shall require to be entered in the IFMS with in 20.04.2018 and Annexure-I & II shall require to be sent to DPPG WB within 27.04.2018 (Sl. No. 10 of the Notification No. 734-F(J)W.B. dated- 28.02.2018). Though most of the offices have already completed the prerequisites for smooth switch over but some offices have yet to complete the entry, approval of opening balance as on 01.04.2018 in IFMS and submission of documents to DPPG.
It was under active consideration of the Government to extend the last date of approval of opening balance of GPF and submission of documents to DPPG for those Group-D employees who are yet to be covered in the new Online GPF module.
Now the undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that Governor is pleased to extend the last date of entry and approval of Opening balance of GPF and submission of documents to DPPG WB upto 20.06.2018.
