Provident Fund
1) GPF (General Provident Fund), 2) CPF (Contributory Provident Fund), 3) EPF (Employees Provident Fund).
During the period from 01.04.2018 to 30.06.2018, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to GPF shall carry interest @ of 7.6% per annum.
During the period from 01.04.2019 to 30.06.2019, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 8% per annum.
Accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1% per annum. The rate will be in force during this financial year for the period from 01.01.2021 to 31.03.2021.
Governor is pleased to decide that during the period from 01.04.2023 to 30.06.2023, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar fundsshall carry interest at the rate of 7.1%.
General Provident Fund and other similar funds under the administrative control of the Government of West Bengal shall carry interest at the rate of 8.7% per annum w.e.f. 01.04.2014.
GPF, CPF, CPFE shall carry interest at the rate of 8% (eight per cent) for the period from 1.4.2011 to 30.11.2011 and 8.6% (eight point six per cent) w.e.f. 01.12.2011.
The existing TR-47 schedule for transfer of money for Provident Fund from the Pay bill submitted by Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall continue to exist as usual.
During the period from 01.01.2018 to 31.03.2018, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to GPF shall carry interest @ of 7.6% per annum.
All Heads of the Secondary /H.S./JR.High/Madrasah are informed to submit the option of teaching and Non-teaching staff who are interested to switch over option for taking G.P.F instead of C.P.F.
Certified that all pending works related to online GPF module of Gr. D GPF viz. capture & approval of balances as on 01/04/2018 in online mode and submission of hard copies to DPPG, re-submission of rejected balances in the same way, e-sanctioning of final payment, have been completed.
