Various Scholarship Schemes for students of West Bengal e.g. Pre-matric, Post-matric, Merit-cum-Means, Central Sector Scheme, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, Hindi Scholarship etc.
Kanyashree Prakalpa 2013 has launched for the unmarried girls students of the age group from 13-18 years and whose family income is less than or equal to Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum. Bank Account (Zero Balance Account by the Govt. order) may be opened for such beneficiaries fulfilling criteria.
As per intimation of NCERT, New Delhi there is a possibility of enhancement of State quota. So there is a probability for publishing a second list of selected candidates according to that quota (if and when).
Scholarship upto Rs. 30, 000/- (i.e. upto Rs. 20,000/- per annum as course fee and Maintenance allowance upto Rs. 10, 000/- for Hosteller/ Rs. 5000/- for Day Scholar) per year.
All SC/ST girls who are unmarried and below 16 years of age as on 31/03/2013 and who pass out in class VIII and enroll in class IX in state govt., govt. aided or Local body school/madrasah from academic year 2013/14 onwards are eligible.
State level National Talent Search Examination, 2016, for the students of class X or for those who will appear at the 10th level examination, 2016 through ODL mode will be held on November 8, 2015.
State level National Talent Search Examination, 2017, for the students of class X or for those who will appear at the 10th level examination will be held on 13th November, 2016.
Applications for Hindi Scholarships are invited from the students of West Bengal, who passed in 2012 the Madhyamik, the Higher Secondary or the Degree Examination.
Stage-I State level NTS Examination will be held on 8th November, 2015. Stage-II Examination (National Level) will be conducted and held on 8th May, 2016 by the N.C.E.R.T.
The Student should belong to a non-Hindi speaking State and be ordinarily residing in West Bengal. His /Her mother-tongue should not be Hindi. Last date: 30.12.2017.
