ORDER
Sub: Tender Committees for Electrical and IT works of North Bengal and South Bengal, PWD.
Consequent upon Expansion & Restructuring (Notification No: 01; Dated-07/01/2025 & 04; Dated- 15/01/2025), Amendment of nomenclature through Notification No: 75-E; Dated- 19/8/2025 & Re-designation through Notification No: 78-E; Dated- 28/08/2025, it has become essential to reframe the extant orders related to constitution of Tender Committee/(s) for Electrical Wing of the department to suit with the present configuration.
Accordingly, after careful consideration of the matter, Tender Committees for Electrical Wing are re-constituted; as follows, for evaluating and recommending tenders related to electrical & IT works of Public Works Department to the concerned authority as per Memorandum No: 2320-F(Y); Dated: 07/06/2022 for according sanction towards acceptance of tender/(s).
For Electrical Wing of PWD, three committees have been formed in the following manner:
A) For the Electrical Works of South Bengal, PWD:
| 1. | Chief Engineer (Works) Electrical, South Bengal, PWD | Chairman |
| 2. | Senior Superintending Engineer (El) to the Chief Engineer (Works) Electrical, South Bengal, PW Dte. | Member Convenor |
| 3. | Senior Superintending Engineer (Electrical)/ Superintending Engineer (Electrical) of the Circle to which the tender is related. | Member |
| 4. | Divisional Accounts Officer/ Divisional Accountant of any Division other than the Division in which the work is related. | Member |
B) For the Electrical Works of North Bengal, PWD:
| 1. | Chief Engineer (Works) Electrical, North Bengal, PWD | Chairman |
| 2. | Senior Superintending Engineer (El) to the Chief Engineer (Works) Electrical, North Bengal, PW Dte. | Member Convenor |
| 3. | Senior Superintending Engineer (Electrical)/ Superintending Engineer (Electrical) of the Circle to which the tender is related. | Member |
| 4. | Divisional Accounts Officer/ Divisional Accountant of any Division other than the Division in which the work is related. | Member |
C) For the IT Works of PWD:
| 1. | Chief Engineer (Works) Electrical, IT, PWD | Chairman |
| 2. | Senior Superintending Engineer (El) to the Chief Engineer (Works) Electrical, IT, PW Dte. | Member Convenor |
| 3. | Senior Superintending Engineer (Electrical)/ Superintending Engineer (Electrical) of the Circle to which the tender is related. | Member |
| 4. | Divisional Accounts Officer/ Divisional Accountant of any Division other than the Division in which the work is related. | Member |
These committees will function on the Financial Power for tender acceptance as per stipulation of No: 2320-F(Y); Dated: 07/06/2022 of Finance Department and Tender acceptance power of the above committees deemed to be stand modified time to time as per order of Finance Department
This order will supersede order no. 1M-56/18/1227-R/PL dated 24.09.2018 and order no. 16-CRC/2M/57 dated 11.04.2014 and will take immediate effect.
This has an approval of competent authority in e-file bearing computer no: 1296872.
