Re: Date of Increment after 10 yrs Benefit
@ Asit Baran Pal, you are right. Considering the facts stated by you, donyio_polo made right statements. Thanks.November 19, 2012 at 2:57 pm #75420AnonymousInactiveRe: Date of Increment after 10 yrs Benefit
10 Year benefit will be due:
!) In case of, date of joining in between 02.01.xxxx to 30.06.xxxx :- After completion of 10 year continuous service, ensuing 1st July after getting his/her periodical increment and one another increment on the same day @3% of B.Pay.due to 10 year benefit.
2. In case of date of joining in between 01.07.xxx to 01.01.xxxx. 10 yrs. benefit due on the same day after just completion of 10 year continuous service as per above noted rate.Friend,
You are correct. But, I wish to add a little to the first provision.
(1) For completion of 10 years of continuous regular service in between 2nd Jan. and 30th June of any year, the date of increment will be on 1st July if the employee wishes to get his pay fixed on 1st July. But, if he wants to get pay fixed on the date on which the increment falls due (example 1st March) his pay will be fixed on that very date (1st March) and, he will get normal increment (annual) on 1st July of next year.
(2) I fully agree.
Thanks a lot.November 20, 2012 at 10:20 am #75445AnonymousInactiveRe: Date of Increment after 10 yrs Benefit
Thanks my friend for ur reply. Now I want to say that cause of my 10 years fixation date is 27.11.12. How I will get 4 days fixation arrear for that month ?Actually the calculation procedure………November 20, 2012 at 8:31 pm #75480AnonymousInactiveRe: Date of Increment after 10 yrs Benefit
Arrear of 4 days = Salary payable for 4 days after fixation – Salary actually paid for 4 days before fixation. Since November month is of 30 days, salary for 4 days (27.11.2012 – 30.11.2012) shall be proportionately computed.
For example, if pay = Rs. 16000 and G.P.= Rs. 4800 after fixation with effect from 27.11.12 then,
Pay for 4 days = 16000 x (4/30) = 2133.33 = 2133 (rounded off)
G.P. for 4 days = 4800 x (4/30) = 640
DA for 4 days = DA admissible for the month x (4/30) = (16000+4800) x 0.45 x (4/30) = 1248
HRA for 4 days = HRA admissible for the month x (4/30) = (16000+4800) x 0.15 x (4/30) = 416
Salary for 4 days after fixation = 4437
Similarly, salary paid for 4 days before fixation can also be computed on proportionate basis.
Now, get the difference of the two amounts as arrear of 4 days’ salary.November 22, 2012 at 7:21 am #75530AnonymousInactiveRe: Date of Increment after 10 yrs Benefit
