There is no mention particular duties of a Gr.D staff. (1) He rings the bell, (2) acts like a peon,(3) obeys the H.M.’s order, for example, you are in a class, then a notice may reached to you to deliver the students, to collect/buy stamps or to drop letters,to buy stationery goods, to do a xerox, (3) to go any of the offices to serve a letter from H.M.,(4) stamps on answer sheet, supply the loose sheet, stapler etc.etc. thousand of works, in a word,he should perform his duties as allotted by the H.M. An energetic Gr.D moves like a top/lattoo.
But we should remember that we can not give order to do our personal work. He brings our water in a jug, pot,bucket of course but not serve a glass of water to your table. It may happened to the case of the H.M. But he is also not bound to marketing for the H.M.

Dear friend, remember that, one day, the school may run by the absence of an or more than one asst. teacher, but the absence of a Gr. D, it is very painful and more difficult to run the normal activities,smooth sailing of the school.

I have left my previous school from 07/07/2011. But till today, when I go there, the Gr. D appears with a glass of water without asking to do so.( I can not drink water from a jug or bottle)

It is a very personal remark- I have said,usually say to my Gr. D ( will be retired on March,2013), ” IF YOU NOT BECAME A GR.D, THEN I WOULD PRONAMS TO YOU. Every work (expect taught to the students) he does! He did not say,Sir, I can not do this. He is so sincere.
How it can possible? Don’t mind, by the magic of a word “LOVE”, to show by the sympathetic behaviour,speech etc.

I like to know the Duties and Responsibilities of Group-D staff Specially Peon & Laboratory Attendant in H.S. School. I am lady Lab. Attendant in Gobardhanpur P.N.V.,Pingla, Paschim Medinipur. Because In my school has two Peons & has two Laboratory Attendants. But it is sorry to say you that the Peons are not agree to ring the bell, not to open bath rooms & latrine , not to clean the class rooms, not to give teachers water, not to open School Gates and Staff Rooms, not to serve Notice in different Classes, not agree to go to D.I. office to know their duties & responsibilities . You may want know, then what they do? In most of the cases they are inactive and they are absence from School but they seated nearby.As a lady, I do the above mentioning works. Is there any G.O. in this regard? Please help me to give G.O. separately for Peon & Lab. Attendant . Can I consult in Legal step? Know me in details,Please as early as possible.You

Group A,B,C,D are the divisions of grade, it doesn’t mean that some holding the same group will have same job/task,if it would be the same then there need not any designation, it ought have been only a designation that is D or C etc.There must have a particular tasks of designated laboratory attendants,if there is no such order mentioned by the wbcssc,it should be made.

January 31, 2016 at 12:28 pm #81283InactiveA Gr. D must do his duty by the instruction of the H.M. & M.C. But he will not do any personal works of the H.M. or any staff of the school or any member of the M.C. I have discuss about this before.

Know me in details,Please as early as possible.theMAM YOU ARE A LAB ATTENDENT MEANS U HELP THE SIR/madam at lab and the work u said clean class , toilet are of sweeper and opening school gate ,staff rooms all are work of a chowkidar the whole staff is exploiting you u can file a case and to know your duty go to court and there write a RTI ABOUT duties of lab attendent , chowkidar ,sweeper and peon and within 2 or 3 days u got ur answer from govt. then show those order to school or college members and don’t ever do these work these are not of yours they are exploiting you and after that they don’t agree and exploit u again plz file a case and will win that and u got sweeper plus chowkidar payment too for those works and the staff members will be ashamed and suspended by court and the world is selfish be selfish don’t care of any staff member do this they don’t stand with u and truth is they all know ur duties and still exploiting you mam
