MEMORANDUM
In terms of Memorandum No. 5458-F(Y) Dated 27/06/2012 of Finance Department, Audit Branch, Finance Department has delegated the financial power of the Engineers for “Technical Sanction” are as follows:

2. In terms of G.O. No. 3007-F(Y) Dated 12/04/2013 of Finance Department, Audit Branch, All the projects with estimated cost of Rs. 5.00 Crore and above meant for execution through Public Sector Units shall be vetted by the Chief Engineer of Public Works Department-Rule 47D(4)(b)(ii).
3. The undersigned is to say that the estimate, for works originating from Districts, has to be sent through the concerned Executive Engineer of Public Works Directorate to the concerned Superintending Engineer/ Chief Engineer (as the case may be). Estimates for works originating in districts can only be vetted by the respective Superintending Engineers/ Zonal Chief Engineers.
