The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.
All the Pension Disbursing Authorities are requested to accept the duly verified Life Certificates submitted through messenger/ post and should not insist upon the physical appearance of the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners in the Bank branches/ Treasuries.
The incumbent Govt. employee may be allowed promotion provisionally on officiating basis to the next higher post or grade before completion of one year of probation period.
As per West Bengal Treasury Rule the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners are required to submit Life Certificates duly verified by authorized persons in the month of November every year to the pension disbursing Bank/ Treasuries.
Accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1% per annum. The rate will be in force during this financial year for the period from 01.10.2020 to 31.12.2020.

Group – A: All employees having Entry Pay in the Pay-Level with a minimum Rs. 35,800/- and above with Level of Pay ranging from 12 and above. Group – B: Rs. 24,700/-and above with Level of Pay ranging from 7 to 11. Group – C: Rs. 18,800/-and above with Level of Pay ranging from 3 to 6. Group – D: Rs. 17,000/- and above with Level of Pay ranging in 1 and 2.
The salary of State Government employees and salary out of Grants-in-aid for the month of October 2020 will be disbursed on the 28th October 2020 and 29th October 2020 respectively.
