ORDER
The proposal for adoption of the existing National Highway Schedule of Rates (NH SoR), together with corrigenda/ amendments issued from time to time, in place of the existing PWD Schedule of Rates for preparation of estimates for Road and Bridge works is presently under active consideration of the Government.
As the process of obtaining the approval of the Government may take some time and in order to avoid delay in the preparation and submission of Detailed Project Reports for various Road and Bridge projects under different schemes, pending the final decision of the Government and in anticipation of such approval, DPRs for Road and Bridge projects may be prepared using the existing National Highway Schedule of Rates (NH SoR), together with corrigenda/ amendments issued from time to time, along with the prevailing taxes, centages and other applicable provisions.
Such DPRs, along with the technically sanctioned estimates, may be submitted examination and further processing without awaiting issuance of the final Government order regarding adoption of the National Highway Schedule of Rates.
It is further clarified that this order is issued purely as an interim measure to expedite the preparation and submission of DPRs, Administrative Approval & Financial Sanction of such projects, as well as execution of the works shall be subject to the final decision of the Government regarding adoption of the National Highway Schedule of Rates and to such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Government.
This order shall remain in force until further orders.
